I still think and write a lot about various topics, like global politics, because my goal is on improving world peace – I am in the middle of illustrating a book I’ve written that fosters better global peace and harmony for the sake of the children. (I aim to publish it in early 2027.) Those who’ve perused my blog here will recognise my expertises in these fields, yet I don’t ever post these particular kinds of thoughts anywhere because they discuss specific nations, people and events rather than are purely general lessons or timeless takeaways. However, regarding these current world events, I thought I ought to publish these particular raw thoughts here for the record.

…Regarding the jus ad bellum (reasons for starting a war) and jus in bello (one’s conduct in war) war crimes committed by the USA and Israel in 2026, one of the main reasons that’s stopping the rest of the world from doing the right thing in protecting humanity and enforcing international law is the concept of ‘might makes right’ – not right in a morally right way but in a ‘how are you going to stop the biggest bully in the world from bullying others’ way. Unless the rest of the world (Europe, China, Russia, India, etc.) park their differences and unite to militarily stand up against the global bully that is the USA then the USA will just continue picking on whom they consider weak with impunity, to steal resources from them and try to install political puppets favourable to them in a non-democratic way.

But hundreds of US military bases are all around the world, pointing missiles in close proximity towards any nation that wishes to defy US self-interests thus, for instance, if the UK wished to militarily intervene against the Israeli ‘regime’ to enforce international humanitarian law and protect Palestinian lives in Gaza from genocide and illegal foreign occupation, or against the US ‘regime’ that started an illegal war in Iran, we know that the USA could and would just turn their military hardware and software – based on, near or in our territories or systems – against us within a split-second. We know the USA can and will turn against their allies in a heartbeat, as illustrated with their greedy threats to take or annex Greenland or Canada. These are early warning signs.

In other words, these foreign military bases on our lands and neighbourhoods mean that the USA has us over a barrel. We’ve arguably become vassal States to them in certain regards. The lesson is to never let foreign military bases be located long-term on your territory – don’t voluntarily let foreign military imperialism into your home. They can become like Trojan horses. You may think they’re allies and that it’ll protect you from a potential third-party belligerent, but history has shown us time and again that once-allies can suddenly turn into adversaries.

American citizens may think hawkish foreign policies and the outsized expenditure of their taxes on their military are therefore good things for them personally – be that big bully in the schoolyard who no one else can stop or punish – but this evidently only really benefits the already rich, hence why domestic living standards don’t rise with any foreign invasion, and why most American citizens have learned to not want any more foreign wars in an ‘America first’ stance. Tax dollars should be spent on helping the ordinary citizen, in domestic healthcare, education and small businesses.

American citizens who aren’t so indoctrinated by their own propaganda and ignorant to the rest of the world also understand that the rest of the world increasingly dislikes and distrusts America. Eventually, the USA may become a pariah State and ostracised for not being a global team player, for being a consistent warmonger. (An ‘America first’ stance for Americans is fair enough. It’s tacit for all countries to put their own citizens first and spend their own tax money on their own people first. But this shouldn’t mean ‘America only’ or ‘America at the sacrifice of others’. If it does, then the rest of the world should recognise ‘America first’ for the USA as ‘America last’ for the foreign policies of all other countries.)

2026 ought to be a watershed moment for America’s present allies, if 2025 wasn’t already with all those tariffs. History teaches us that there are no permanent allies. But the logical hope is that there are no permanent adversaries either and that’s what the rest of the world needs to focus on if America wishes to continue with believing in its own exceptionalism and modern manifest destiny. The United Nations also needs a shake-up because it’s not fit for purpose in today’s world.

Russia should talk about stopping their war in Ukraine right now since it’s a good moment because of the internal tensions in NATO – namely USA versus the other member States because Donald Trump has threatened to take the USA out of NATO. If Russia’s true concerns were about NATO expansion, then NATO may be minus their biggest member State. If NATO becomes minus the USA then Russia can feel safer and should be more inclined to talk about lasting peaceful relations with European nations.

So this is a dialogue and negotiation opportunity for Russia if Russia is smart enough. With long-term vision, this is not an opportunity to exploit the global distraction that is the Iran War to take (more of) Ukraine. Ukrainians are your old brothers and sisters. This is an opportunity to turn it around and come out with more international sympathy by proving to us that the invasion of Ukraine was truly about resisting NATO expansion rather than was an imperialistic resource or land-grab in the style of the USA in Iraq, Venezuela, Iran, etc..

I tell Russia now that no European nation wishes to ever start a war against Russia, our neighbour. The US government complains about other NATO members not spending enough on our militaries, but that’s because we just want enough to genuinely defend ourselves – not conduct in foreign invasions like America keeps on doing. There’s zero desire. It’s the US government, the CIA and the US military-industrial complex (scares and wars mean profits for the shareholders) that keeps on stoking up foreign threats and ‘pre-emptive’ strike justifications for hot wars that’s holding us as arguable vassal States of America, as explained above. If Russia isn’t imperialist (and why should it be with its already vast territory and resources) and is morally better than the USA then Russia should stop the Ukraine War right now on the condition that the USA leaves NATO, and then have zero desire to ever start a war with Europe as a whole since the Cold War would be definitively over if the USA leaves NATO. Future history may turn out okay for Russia concerning this period if Vladimir Putin is smart enough.

If mainland China is also morally better than the USA then they will not take this moment of global distraction, and key US munitions depletion and military asset redeployment in the Middle East, as an opportunity to militarily strike Taiwan. China has the opportunity to show the rest of the world how to handle relations peacefully and prove the western media anti-China propaganda and bias wrong.
